This place took years of my life
This is the East Harbor of Alexandria. A perfect place for fishing. That was my hobby every summer vacation from age 12-16. Woke up at 3 am to go driving my bicycle to buy the bait from a single place in Ibrahimeya. If I woke late and I went after 4 am I find the guy is gone. There is tens of us who go to buy that tiny small shrimp for fishing. Then I go back home, sleep again until 8 am then i take my equipments and go to the East Harbor all day long. It was fun because we were a group. Now I feel fishing is a boring hobby, even when I retire. Maybe because I acquired the hectic rythm of the American life.

Take a trip to Alaska and do some salmon fishing in July. You can compete with the bears and maybe, that will get you excited about it again.
Or you can go out in a boat, or on a dock, with a drink (coffee if it's early), sit back, relax, and wait for a bite.
I'm not an early bird, but I do enjoy it occasionally, and have even thought of taking fly-fishing lessons. Especially now, that we've gotten our VW Vanagon tricked out.
I wish I have time for those dreamy advices
Fishing is a very nice hobby it makes u more patient. I am sorry for you that u lost the interest.
U commented before that all Egyptian bloggers or most of them are talking about sad thigs, I just wanted to comment that bad experiences which forces someone to write, and when we are stable we usually dont write
My greetings for u and thanks for ur visit
Hi Mimi
Do you mean that we are only motivated to write only when we are sad? if that so then you wont see me publish one single post since I am always happy! I guess you are a little bit exaggerating. See you lat post and see how many of the commentors were wondering " why all that?" I like your poetry but just dont wrap your life in saddness
